Our Year 9 student Jonah Holland has created this outstanding piece of summer holiday homework for English, based on the Sign of the Four by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (a Sherlock Holmes book). Students could have made a mind map or piece of art based on the book.
Jonah said “I found pictures I really liked, and I wanted to make something that looked like Sherlock Holmes desk.” The whole of Team English are extremely impressed with Jonahs dedication and attitude to learning. They have high hopes for him in English in the future.
Headteacher Mrs Scott-Herron says “Jonah has really embraced his love of learning in creating this piece during the holidays. It is clear he has been inspired by this book; so much so that his artwork is essentially representative of him transporting himself into Sherlock Holmes’ world.” Congratulations Jonah!
