One of Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School’s singing groups, ‘Botelertonix’, were invited to perform at the National Conference for the Church Of England Foundation for Educational Leadership in Westminster on 6th February. Headteacher Mrs Scott-Herron commented: “It was an amazing event and our students were fabulous. They joined 2 other schools to perform to hundreds of Headteachers and Senior Leaders from all over the country. The students had exposure to some really inspirational speakers and other young people throughout the day.” After the event, students and accompanying teachers spent the day sightseeing in London. The students even did impromptu performances at Trafalgar Square, Downing Street and Euston Station: much to the delight of the passer bys. The students said it was “the best day ever” and all the teachers could not agree more. “To be able to perform on a national stage is a not only testimony to their talent and hard work, but to their commitment to our Boteler Family and everything we stand for,” said Mrs Scott-Herron.
