Students from Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School work tirelessly against bullying and hate crime. Once again, the whole school community is proud to have been awarded the Wise Up Gold Award for their hard work. Dedicated Year 7 student Mia collected the award straight from a netball tournament after school. Assistant Headteacher Mr Leonard commented: “Students are frequently reminded of how important it is to be aware of other people’s feelings and how using certain words of behaviours may cause offence whether intentionally or unintentionally. All students are taught that that everybody is equal. The work that all staff do on a daily basis creates an environment where we do not tolerate any form of bullying. If and when incidents do occur it is clear that they are dealt with quickly and effectively”.
